Our latest restoration project is making a big impact! By removing invasive blackberry bushes and replanting with 892 native trees, shrubs, sedges, and ferns across 1,283 m², we’re helping to restore habitat, support local wildlife, and create a thriving natural space. Surrounding this is a 2,124 m² wildflower meadow, with a scenic mowed trail for everyone to enjoy!
• Blackberry removal & grass replanting to prevent regrowth
• Custom wildflower & grass reseeding for biodiversity
• Mulch protection for plant health
• More red-osier dogwood & willow stakes coming winter 2024/25!
A huge shoutout to the BC Geocachers Association & our dedicated volunteers—27 people contributed 94.5 hours alongside Metro Vancouver staff’s 33 hours to bring this vision to life!
